Alex G (1993–present) (American indie musician and film composer)

American musician, singer-songwriter and record producer, better known by the stage name Alex G; between 2017 and 2020 he recorded as (Sandy) Alex G.

He began with DIY self-releases on Bandcamp from 2010 onwards. His label debut DSU (2014, Orchid Tapes) brought wider recognition, after which he signed with Domino Recording Company and released Beach Music (2015), Rocket (2017), House of Sugar (2019) and God Save the Animals (2022).

In film music he is closely associated with writer-director Jane Schoenbrun, scoring We're All Going to the World's Fair (2022), I Saw the TV Glow (2024) and Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma (2026).
