Description
Documentary following high school students from the Los Angeles Unified School District as they prepare for the Classic Slam, the city's largest youth spoken word poetry competition hosted by Get Lit – Words Ignite. Performing a classic poem alongside an original response piece, the young poets confront their fears, work through personal struggles and find confidence and community through poetry.
